With the depressing weather signalling the start of autumn, there was only going to be one thing which brought the sunshine back into our lives - a live event at Monica’s Wrestling Centre.
A number of talented and very beautiful ladies climbing through the Ring of Pain ropes ready to battle in the squared circle was just what the doctor ordered and the anecdote to any seasonal blues people were feeling.
We saw fan favourites and debutants battle it out to produce nine thrilling contests which had those lucky enough to be in attendance on the edge of their seats and desperate for more, come the end of every single match.
The eight beauties saw returns of fan favourites Kassidy, Cheetah, Epiphany, Petra and Amber Phoenix with a debut for Sabrina.
Surprisingly, Supernova and Ina Black - who are certainly no strangers to Monica’s Wrestling Centre or the wrestling scene - were also making their first live show appearances at the venue!
The proceedings were managed and all things were kept in order, of course, by The Referee while the main woman herself Monica patrolled outside the ring!
These events are known for the fun but high quality wrestling contests and the nine matches we were treated to here didn’t disappoint and kept up the tradition that Monica’s Wrestling Centre is well known for.
We were treated to some hard fought, thrilling close contests as well as impressive dominance which saw clear winners - but every single fight delivered big time.
As usual, the crowd were well up for the occasion and whooped and cheered from start to finish, realising they were lucky to witness the spectacle.

Match 1 Petra v Cheetah
Monica’s Wrestling Centre live shows always kick off with an absolute banger and this September 2024 bash was no different, giving everyone an exciting clash between two absolute beauties.
‘Wild Thing’ and Monica’s Wrestling Centre favourite Cheetah took on Princess Petra who burst on the scene earlier this year and has already made a great name for herself in the wrestling world.
You can tell that these two were itching to get their hands on one another and, after the Referee introduced them and went through the rules, they wasted little time in getting the action underway as soon as the opening bell sounded.
The action was intense right from the off as both Petra and Cheetah battled and struggled on the canvas looking for an early opening to give themselves an advantage.
The initial point didn’t come quickly or easily as the one girl ramped up the pressure while the other dug deep to resist and not tap out easily.
But eventually it came and was followed by three more in fairly quick succession as the first round drew to a close.
The smiles never left either Cheetah or Petra’s faces in between points but there was no doubting the seriousness of the wrestling as once they locked up again, it was all business.
One of these warriors, however, did start to open up a significant advantage as she grabbed herself some hard earned and reluctantly given submissions to help build up her lead.
That said, both Petra and Cheetah battled hard all the way through and showed off plenty of skills to demonstrate why they are such huge fan favourites.
Both ladies deserved immense credit for a cracking opening match which set the tone for the rest of the exciting live event!
Match 2 Epiphany v Sabrina
The second match of the Monica’s Wrestling Centre September 2024 live show promised yet another sexy grappling treat and absolutely didn’t let us down!
Sultry Sabrina was making her debut appearance and took on exquisite Epiphany Jones (taking part in her first live event since giving birth - what a badass mama!)and we were witnesses to a superb contest between two very contrasting but extremely gifted grapplers.
Sabrina has long and strong legs and looked to get them in action as soon as possible but Epiphany dug deep and did her best to avoid them or battle out strongly whenever she found herself in them.
The pair grappled all over the canvas of the Ring of Pain as the minutes ticked on by and the contest became more and more intense as it went on.
As the first round came and went, only one submission had been given with both Epiphany and Sabrina had their moments on top or under attack throughout this hard fought and extremely thrilling match.
There was no let up in the action as the two rolled around the canvas looking for openings to try to get an advantage over the other in a hot, sweaty and incredible contest.
Both these ladies proved exactly how tough they are by absorbing moves which would have had lesser fighters quit and then immediately going on the offensive themselves.
Epiphany and Sabrina relentlessly went at it from start to finish in all three rounds and the result was a highly entertaining and brilliant wrestling match between two highly entertaining and brilliant wrestlers.
The pair clearly enjoyed it, judging by their beaming smiles at the end, and there was plenty of respect between them too. There was a clear winner but both deserve the plaudits and cheers they received.
Match 3 Ina Black v Supernova
When the card for the Monica’s Wrestling Centre September 2024 live show was announced, we imagine many of the girls were keen on avoiding having to face these two powerhouses.
So, Monica being Monica, decided to pit these brutal wrecking machines against one another to see what carnage would ensue in the Ring of Pain!
Legendary Ina Black and champagne Supernova really need no introduction and have enjoyed many moments destroying other talented fighters in this very venue.
But, incredibly, both women were making their very first appearances at a Monica’s live show event so it was perhaps befitting they should face off against one another in what was sure to be a titanic and memorable event.
There were smiles and plenty of respect between the pair but as soon as the bell rang for round one, both Supernova and Ina Black got straight down to business and collided hard to kickstart this incredible battle.
Normally, both of these enjoy considerable size and strength advantages over their rivals but this was not the case here and it resulted in an extremely hard fought and intense battle.
There were body scissors, arm bars, breast smothers, schoolgirl pins, headlocks, figure four locks, cross body pins and combination holds which looked incredibly painful for the recipient.
You could see and hear the amazing effort that both Supernova and Ina Black were putting into this and it was clear both were having to work harder to get themselves into a position where they might make an impact.
By the end of the contrast, they both looked like they had been in a serious battle but one of the women had amassed an impressive number of submissions to register a clear and dominant victory. We suspect the other wrestlers were happy not to be on the same receiving end!
Match 4 Amber Phoenix v Sabrina
The fourth match of Monica’s Wrestling Centre’s September 2024 live show provided us with another intriguing clash that had us licking our lips in anticipation.
After an impressive first fight in her very first show, Sabrina was back and this time ready to take on the amazing Amber Phoenix who was taking part in her opening contest of this event.
Following the usual pre-match introductions, the two went straight at one another and it was clear this was going to be a memorable fight between two talented and very strong fighters.
Amber has immense power but Sabrina is no lightweight - especially when she gets those lovely but deadly legs on the offensive!
They were soon rolling around the Ring of Pain canvas trying to get on top of one another and start clocking up those all important and heavily prized submissions to register what would be a very impressive victory.
The first round whizzed by in what seemed like a few seconds but we did see a couple of submissions but it was mainly full of fast-paced, top quality action.
Round two was no different and both Sabrina and Amber were determined and keen to trap one another in some agonising holds and get those tap outs while their resilience meant they would not give them up so easily.
There were head locks, body scissors, arm bars, guillotines, leg locks, head scissors, school girl pins and combination holds with both girls enjoying their time on top!
Both Amber and Sabrina were nothing short of brilliant and neither let up in this pulsating and punishing encounter and full of respect for each other.
By the end, one of them did emerge as winner but that doesn’t tell the whole story of this classic contest.
Match 5 Kassidy v Supernova
The start of the second half of the Monica’s Wrestling Centre September 2024 live event saw another battle between two big, powerful women who are not known for taking any prisoners in their fights!
Supernova had delighted everyone earlier during her bruising encounter with Ina Black and the challenge she faced in her first ever live show here didn’t get any easier as she squared off against the glorious and forever popular Kassidy.
As soon as they locked up, it was obvious this was going to be yet another breathtaking battle of skills, speed and strength with the two seemingly very keen to get on the front foot to try to get an early advantage in proceedings.
The action was intense right from the off as Kassidy and Supernova tried to use their strengths to make the other tap out and it took a monumental effort and time before the first submission did arrive.
It was being wrestled in a great spirit though, with immense respect between the two - Kassidy even helped Supernova when she had an issue with her hair in the second round!
But as for the actual wrestling, one of the fighters began to dominate as proceedings went on as she went through her incredible arsenal of attacking moves.
She used figure four locks, body scissors, arm bars, head scissors, guillotines, head locks, ankle locks and combination holds to build up an impressive collection of tap outs under her name.
Not that this stopped the opponent on the receiving end of this punishment from continuing to try to get her own back of course - we are dealing with proud badass fighters here after all!
So, whilst we had a clear winner, it was a fabulous and very entertaining match-up that was appreciated by those lucky to be watching!
Match 6 Cheetah v Amber Phoenix
Match six of Monica’s Wrestling Centre’s September 2024 live show saw two glorious grappling girls clashing head on in the Ring of Pain!
Both Cheetah and Amber Phoenix had strutted their stuff and delighted the crowd earlier in the day so we were looking forward to seeing more of the same from the pair as they locked horns in this contest.
And, judging by the looks on their faces and the eagerness in which they began proceedings after the opening bell, it was obvious that these two were keen to provide more joy for all of us watching on.
Straight away, Cheetah and Amber Phoenix went at one another, locked up and started fighting hard looking to gain the initiative early on and place a marker in the sand, so to speak.
They were soon battling all over the canvas of the ring and going at it with each lady getting on top and putting the other in some difficult circumstances which required sheer stubbornness to avoid tapping out!
As you’d expect from Cheetah and Amber Phoenix, it was a quick and intense wrestling match between two talented and seemingly evenly matched warriors.
The first submission took a while before finally arriving and it took some serious effort before it was reluctantly given following a brutal body scissor and head lock combination.
Both locked on an array of fantastic holds including head locks, body scissors, head scissors, arm bars, school girl pins, ankle locks and combination holds.
Each round saw the pair wrestling hard from the first second to the last with the bell getting in the way of a truly thrilling contest which went back and forth all the way.
One of these fabulous fighters did emerge a narrow winner but both Cheetah and Amber Phoenix deserved high praise for their brilliance!
Match 7 Sabrina v Petra
The seventh contest of Monica’s Wrestling Centre’s September 2024 live show featured two leggy stunners with the promise of a super contest in store for the fans.
Both Petra and Sabrina had delivered stellar performances earlier in the day and they were clearly determined to continue that rich vein of form against one another in this battle.
It became obvious that these two were going to delight as soon as the action got underway and they were a tangle of limbs as they battled all over the Ring of Pain canvas looking to get an advantage and get those all important submissions.
It wasn’t just the attacking moves that were impressing us but also the determination not to give in easily and they certainly endured their fair share of punishment without submitting when weaker fighters might have done.
Both Sabrina and Petra were enjoying the contest, which was being fought in great spirit, and neither let up as they went as hard as they could to the delight of those of us watching.
There were body scissors, head locks, arm bars, choke holds, school girl pins, ankle locks and combination holds.
As the fight wore on though, one of the wrestlers started to slowly but surely build up a healthy number of submissions in her favour.
But that isn’t the full picture as both Petra and Sabrina attacked with full force and defended with every last muscle as they went in search of what would be a noteworthy victory to have under their belts.
Even late into the contest, when both ladies would have been tiring, they continued to battle intensely and with a never-ending reserve of energy to call upon!
So, while there was a clear winner it was also clear that both women had an enormous amount of fun putting on this thrilling match!
Match 8 Cheetah v Epiphany
The penultimate contest of the Monica’s Wrestling Centre September 2024 live show saw two hugely popular crowd favourites lock horns in the middle of the Ring of Pain.
Beauties Cheetah and Epiphany had already showed what they can do earlier in the event and certainly had no hesitation in doing their thing once again against one another.
Both wasted no time at all in getting on with the task as soon as the first bell rung and they were soon engaged in a hard fought battle all over the canvas.
Cheetah was fighting her third match of the day but showed no signs of fatigue as she attacked Epiphany or fended off her rival’s attempts at getting on top and getting the advantage.
In an enthralling first round, both ladies enjoyed success as they used their skills and strength to make the submit in the opening few minutes, which set the rest of the contest up very nicely indeed!
They clearly just wanted to wrestle and the action went one way and then the other as Epiphany and Cheetah relentlessly looked to clock up tap outs in their favour.
There wasn’t much between them following a thrilling first round and the theme of the match didn’t alter in the later rounds either as the pair just kept on fighting hard, looking to take control and try to dominate the other.
Their well matched skills meant there was no dominating but there were plenty of back and forth action which made for a very exciting contest all the way!
As the Referee said at one point, “they ain’t messing about”, and there was nothing between them as we moved towards the exciting finish of the contest.
One of them won by the narrowest of margins but the appreciation from everyone was aimed at both Cheetah and Epiphany!
Match 9 Kassidy v Ina Black
The grand finale of the Monica’s Wrestling Centre September 2024 live show needed to be something substantial to put the cherry on top of what had been a delicious cake of a show.
And they don’t get much bigger or more badass than the pairing of the outstanding Kassidy and the legendary Ina Black who closed the festival of wrestling in the Ring of Pain in sizzling style.
Kassidy is as dominant and intimidating a fighter you can expect to find in the venue but if there was anyone who would not be fazed by such a presence it was the powerful and skilled Ina Black.
The anticipation for this main event was huge and, after their introductions and pre-fight photos, they got it on and the action was as fast paced and exciting as we’d expected it to be.
Neither Ina Black or Kassidy often find themselves under the cosh against their opponents but that is exactly what was happening here!
There is a lot of mutual respect between the two but the smiles were fooling no one as they went all out to lock on their best moves and make the other submit or suffer the consequences of their stubbornness!
Both ladies’ bodies were soon glistening with sweat and the moans and groans of pain told us all we needed to know about what effect those devastating moves were having!
As the war raged on, one of these badass warriors notched up a significant lead after impressively making her rival tap out on a few occasions.
But the pace of the contest and the intensity of the grappling never let up despite this and both Ina Black and Kassidy were fighting hard right up until the very last bell. Live show finales just don’t get any bigger or better than this!
