The last Monica’s Wrestling Centre live event of 2024 served up an early Christmas treat with a magnificent seven matches showcasing a host of incredible talents.
Awesome crowd favourites Rosie, Sabrina, Ina Black, Amber Phoenix. Beth Bennett and Petra climbed through the ropes of the Ring of Pain and strutted their stuff for an excited crowd of punters.
The UK was battered by a storm and sadly, this had an impact on the show as one or two of the wrestlers were unable to make it on the day.
But true grit is shown in trying times and overcoming that challenge and still putting on a feast of fantastic fights for those able to make it to London is a testament to Monica and all who took part!
The girls were clearly up for the event and this was demonstrated in how they performed once the opening bell for the first of three six minute rounds was rung.
All matches were wrestled in a great spirit but you could see the competitiveness and desire for victory on the faces of each of the performers.
Not content with just presenting outstanding matches between household names, those watching were treated to a Monica’s Wrestling Centre Live Event first when the legendary Ina Black took on two rivals at the same time. If anyone can do it, the Bulgarian most certainly can.
For their part, the crowd were left thrilled with what they were lucky enough to witness as the ladies who were there refused to let high winds and torrential rain stop them from doing what they do best.
If you were unable to make the show then you missed out on an unforgettable event. But luckily, they’ve all been captured on these great clips which are a must have in any collection.
Match 1 - Rosie v Sabrina
It’s standard practice for Monica’s Wrestling Centre live events to kick off with a cracker so why would we change the habit of a lifetime for this December 2024 show?!
Ravishing Rosie and sensational Sabrina were never likely to disappoint and the two beauties looked well up for a fight as they confidently strutted out to the Ring of Pain to their pumping entrance music.
Only, we made them wait just a minute or so extra to get it on as there was a minor issue with the canvas that needed sorting out before the real action could get underway!
Once that was out the way though, the pair launched themselves at one another and the fight was well and truly on and we were instantly treated to some great, competitive wrestling.
The pair battled hard all over the ring and showed great skill, power and determination in the early minutes as they sought to gain an early advantage. The first submission was never going to be easy to earn and it took a monumental effort before one of them reluctantly succumbed.
Sabrina and Rosie were battling in a great spirit with plenty of laughs and smiles along the way and both were on the scoresheet by the end of an exciting opening round.
The break between rounds didn’t stop the pulsating action though as the two of them continued to fight hard and brilliantly, looking for more tap outs in pursuit of what would be a fabulous win.
We saw head scissors, body scissors, head locks, arm bars, figure fours, triangles, schoolgirl pins, grapevine pins and stunning combination holds throughout the contest.
By the end, one of these warriors emerged as a delighted winner but you could see both Rosie and Sabrina had given their all in a cracking match!
Match 2 - Ina Black v Amber Phoenix
The second match of the Monica’s Wrestling Centre December 2024 live show presented the awesome Amber Phoenix with something of a challenge!
She was pitted against none other than the legendary Ina Black who never turns down the opportunity to strut her stuff in the Ring of Pain and show all comers just why she is such a formidable powerhouse!
Amber is a strong and skilled girl in her own right and showed no signs of fear or being intimidated as the Referee called for the bell to start proceedings off.
But Ina looked as steely eyed and determined as ever and she was soon out the traps and flying at Amber looking to get an early advantage and dominate proceedings right from the start.
The red head soon discovered that Ina has speed and agility to go along with her immense strength and skills and she was soon having to submit as the Bulgarian unleashed her relentless attacks.
To her credit, Amber showed great heart and she tried to hang on in there whilst looking for her own opportunities to go on the front foot and attack her imposing opponent.
But that’s easier said than done, especially when Ina is focused and clearly in the mood to stamp her authority on the show as she was here!
Amber had to endure head locks, arm bars, body scissors, head scissors, schoolgirl pins, guillotines, ankle locks and combination holds which were clearly having an impact.
Ina was clearly enjoying herself as she collected tap outs in her favour throughout and she didn’t relent from start to finish, while poor Amber must have felt she had been hit by a hurricane!
Whilst the result was never in doubt for Ina, there was hearty cheers of admiration for a sterling effort by brilliant Amber Phoenix at the end!
Match 3 - Beth Bennett v Petra
The third match of the Monica’s Wrestling Centre December 2024 live event promised us a tasty treat and that is exactly what these two super sexy scrappers delivered for us!
Gorgeous Petra had battled a long and testing journey to get to London and she still looked well and truly up for a battle of a different kind as she took on the beautiful Beth Bennett in the Ring of Pain.
After friendly smiles and a polite pre-fight handshake, the two launched themselves at one another and were soon wrestling hard across the canvas looking to get ahead early on.
They have wildly contrasting looks but both Beth and Petra have much in common such as excellent wrestling skills and an ever growing adoring fan base and this frenetic fight was only going to see that grow!
The fight was so intense and the pair were fighting so hard that they were having to contend with wardrobe malfunctions as well as each other’s killer wrestling moves along the way!
There were headlocks, boys scissors, arm bars, head scissors, ankle locks, leg locks, schoolgirl pins, breast smothers and combination holds as Beth and Petra gave it everything they had in pursuit of victory.
One of the ladies started to dominate in terms of the scoreline but that didn’t tell the whole story as both of them were brilliant and enjoyed moments in the ascendency and battling hard trying to get those all important submissions.
The match seemed to go by in a flash and the action didn’t relent for a second as both Petra and Beth gave it their all right until the very end.
While there was a clear winner, both Beth and Petra deserved the cheers and applause they received at the conclusion from those lucky enough to witness the contest in person!
Match 4 Ina Black v Rosie & Sabrina
The legendary Ina Black is such an incredible wrestling force of nature that it seems impossible to think one person alone can defeat her in the squared circle.
So, for the forth contest in the December 2024 Monica’s Wrestling Centre live event, we decided to see how two talented fighters would fare against the Bulgarian powerhouse!
Earlier, Rosie and Sabrina had contested a fabulous, exciting contest against one another but now they were ready to put the rivalry to one side and team up against Ina - who had shown her class in her earlier match against Amber Phoenix!
It was a first for a Monica’s Wrestling Centre live event and, as the Referee himself admitted, we were working ‘on the fly’. But given the class of all three combatants, we were always going to get a fun, exciting match that will live long in the memory!
Ina came out all guns blazing and, unsurprisingly, showed no concern about the challenge of facing two at the same time as she started throwing Rosie and Sabrina around like rag dolls.
But the duo soon rallied and realised they had to work in tandem and each time Ina looked like she was getting one of them in trouble, the other would come to her rescue.
Unusually, we saw Ina on the receiving end of some attacking moves two as Rosie and Sabrina worked brilliantly to take her down, but the Bulgarian’s spirit and sheer power made it nigh on impossible to make her tap!
The action was fast paced and the initiative swung back and forth - something we rarely say when describing matches with Ina Black.
All three deserve immense credit for this classic match but did Rosie and Sabrina pull off the miracle win or did Ina show even two can’t stop her juggernaut? Download to find out!
Match 5 Petra v Amber Phoenix
The fifth match of the Monica’s Wrestling Centre December 2024 live event was another that promised an intriguing and exciting contest and that’s exactly what we were given!
Petra and Amber Phoenix had hugely impressed in their fights earlier in the show and were obviously keen to earn more plaudits when they went up against one another here.
They are hugely contrasting in terms of looks but both possess an array of weapons in their arsenal capable of making either submit and they also possess a strength and stubbornness to help them avoid tapping.
It didn’t take long for Petra and Amber to be rolling around the Ring of Pain seeking an advantage and you could see both of them were tough warriors from the amount of pressure they could withstand when on the receiving end!
Both ladies were giving everything they had and it made for an incredible, pulsating contest and the minutes passed by almost unnoticed as we were all absorbed in the action in the ring.
Such was the sheer will of the pair, the first submission didn’t come until deep into the match when one could no longer withstand a head lock and body scissor combination hold that she was trapped in.
Both Amber and Petra wore smiles throughout the match which showed how much they were enjoying it and how they were fighting in a great spirit.
They were locked up and wrestling hard all the way through the contest and you could see how determined they both were in getting those all important tap outs and coming out of this with an impressive victory - which one of them narrowly achieved.
Petra and Amber both looked like they’d been in a war by the end of a truly brilliant battle and they earned the acclaim they received at the end!
Match 6 - Beth Bennett v Sabrina
The penultimate match of the December 2024 Monica’s Wrestling Centre live event presented us with a cracking contest between two strong and super fighters!
Beth Bennett and Sabrina had already delighted punters with their performances earlier in the show and now it was time to have them pit their wits against one another in the Ring of Pain.
Straight away, you could see this was going to be a back and forth battle between two determined beauties and they wasted little time in catching each other in tough looking holds before fighting out of them and turning the tables on one another.
They were clearly enjoying it too as the smiles on their faces told their own story whilst they pushed one another to their limits.
Each time it looked like Beth or Sabrina might steal a march on her rival, the balance would swing back to the other and this put us all on the edge of our seats as we watched in awe!
They caught one another in body scissors, head scissors, bear hugs, grapevine pins, arm bars, head locks, schoolgirl pins, ankle locks and combination holds as both Beth and Sabrina went looking for those vital submissions.
Sabrina and Beth were so well matched that they cancelled one another’s attacks out and it became obvious that this would end up being a close call on who would come out as winner.
Not that it was all serious business, though, as there was some outstanding showboating along the way as well when they demonstrated some of the terrific talent that both possesses.
Predicting the winner of this one was impossible as the two put everything they had into trying to earn that victory. Eventually, after a titanic tussle, one did indeed emerge victorious by the slightest of margins!
Match 7 - Ina Black v Petra
We always end a Monica’s Wrestling Centre live show with a bang and this December 2024 event was certainly no different!
The incredible Petra has wowed and delighted wrestling fans since bursting on to the scene, kicking plenty of ass along the way, but she was really up against it this time as she squared off with the legendary Ina Black!
Both women had shown off their talents with aplomb earlier in the show and we knew they’d be keen to continue this and end the event on a high.
But, as talented and strong as Petra is, getting to showcase these skills against Ina was always going to be a tough ask and she soon felt the full force of the Bulgarian once the action got underway.
Ina was straight on the front foot and looking to subdue Petra and catch her in her vast array of punishing holds and she was soon in control.
Petra though is no shrinking violet and she was never just going to roll over easily and each submission was going to have to be earned by her illustrious rival. But Ina ramped up her attacks and soon started collecting tap outs.
We saw body scissors, arm bars, Kimura locks, head scissors, head locks, guillotines, breast smothers, schoolgirl pins, grapevine pins and combination holds throughout the contest.
Petra kept plugging away and battling as hard as she could, giving Ina the best one on one challenge she has face in a long time.
But it’s impossible to stop the unstoppable and it was Ina who was able to build up the score in her favour and come out on top.
Despite this, it was an absorbing and very entertaining match and an absolutely cracking way to end what was another fantastic event!
