February 23 saw one of the biggest turn-outs ever for a Monica's Wrestling Centre event, with a capacity audience watching some fine wrestling. The quality of the matches was awesome, with every woman giving her very best. The Event had a real international flavour, with Kristie, Malia, Nadege and Xana all visting the UK specially. Lina and Phoenix feud - latest!

Lina and Phoenix on the mats ... again!

Having already been beaten by Lina at the Februray Event only two weeks before, Phoenix was back for more. It seems she had said that she could "take Lina any day if I want to." Lina heard about it and wanted to settle it in private. The match was filmed, and one things for sure – there's no love lost. Who won? Check it out HERE!

Xana debuts at Monica's!

Monica's February event saw the first appearance of expert grappler Xana from Belgium. Xana had two superb matches, one highly technical with fellow BJJ grappler Lina and another where she dominated plucky Angel of Destruction, Phoenix. We hope to see her again soon! Monica has many overseas visitors. She just completed a private session with Jacques, who flew in especially from France for the occasion. Monica destroyed him completely in the pins-only match he challenged her for – setting him up with punishing holds, then repeatedly pinning him until he was totally exhausted. June 2007 Event great success!

Last Summer saw another of Monica's fantastic wrestling event in London. There were some outstanding matches, with all the women giving it everything they'd got on a hot June afternoon. Black belt Denise from Brazil made her first appearance in the UK and displayed some dazzling moves. Lina was in great form, at one point taking on German visitor Fritz in a competitive mixed match! And surprise guest fitness model and jiujitsu fighter Panther also took to the mats against Zara. All seven matches (one mixed) are now available on a 2 DVD set. For your copy, click here.

Apartment wrestling!

The match a lot of people have been waiting for! The night before Monica's Event, Monica and Kristie couldn't wait to see who was the better wrestler. The mats went down in Monica's apartment, and the two women wrestled hard. Who was proven the better? Who had to submit to some painful holds? Who said, "She's killing me again!"?
